BLETCHINGLEY

"BLETCHINGLEY, a parish in the first division of the hundred of Tandridge, in the county of Surrey, 5 miles to the E. of Reigate, and 20 miles from London. The South-Eastern railway passes through the parish, the nearest station to which is Redhill. Ham Farm is a hamlet of this parish Bletchingley is a very ancient place, and was formerly a market town and a borough, returning two members to parliament from the reign of Edward I. The market was long since disused, and the borough was disfranchised by the Reform Act in 1832." (There is more of this description).

"HAM FARM, a hamlet in the parish of Bletchingley, first division of the hundred of Tandridge, county Surrey, 5 miles E. of Reigate."
