Lawrence Phillips


Lawrence Phillips teaches English and American Literature at Goldsmiths College, University of London, and was the organiser of the 2002 Literary London Conference: Representations of London in Literature and is chair of the committee for the 2003 conference. He is currently working on a collection of the best papers from the 2002 conference and a documentary reader on Victorian London. Lawrence has published various articles and essays on nineteenth and twentieth century British and American literature, as well as postcolonial studies.
