Roan Lambethans CC is a club founded in 2002 as a result of the merger of Old Lambethans and Old Roan Cricket clubs.
We run 2 League sides on a saturday, both in the Kent League Div 4 (West), and 2 sunday sides playing a good standard, social cricket.
We are
actively looking to recruit players for both league sides as
well as those interested playing social cricket. If you are interested
in joining the club, please email roanlambethans@hotmail.com
or g.francis@gold.ac.uk. Due to the success of the Sports Club major improvements to the changing areas, outfield and other improvements will supplement the facilities in place.
Old Lambethans CC was formed in 1963 by
old boys of Archbishop Temples School, in Lambeth, South London. Old Roan CC was formed in 1920. Click here for Old Roan Association website.
The main event of the year is a Tour,
which is based in Deal, Kent. The tour is now in it's 27th year and
has grown from a weekend to a full week, with good cricket and
socialising every day of the week. Despite this being a established
tour we are continuously looking for ways to improve the tour and
many days continue to go down in folklore!
Nets are held every friday from January til April at The Oval, followed by drinks in Hampton Court Palace Hotel.
Our ground is on Kidbrooke Park Road, opposite Sutcliffe Park,
